Fibroscan test of Liver

Fibroscan is a specialised ultrasound machine used for your liver. It is employed to measure any fibrosis (scarring) and steatosis (fatty change) present in the liver. Fatty change occurs when fat builds up in the liver. Fibroscan allows your healthcare provider to know more about your liver disease. Many people with liver disease(s) have an effect that’s higher than the normal range. Your healthcare provider will use your FibroScan fibrosis result and your medical history to determine your fibrosis score.
